17. In July 2006,
Will Bowen proposed
to his community "The
challenge of the 21
days" to help eliminate
any trace of complaint
for the individual.
18. His proposal was very
simple: You put a
purple bracelet and
keep for 21 days
without making any
complaint or criticism
such as "I have a
headache" or "I will not
go to this class"
19. If at any time you
express a complaint
you have to change
the bracelet to the
other wrist and start
over, along 21 days
20. Most of the participants
have achieved this
challenge,
but it took a minimum
of five months.
It showed how the
culture of complaints
stays in our lives.
21. This is a challenge that will change your life. I
am proposing we take on this challenge of 21
days with no complaining, no criticism.
If you do, you will have make your life a
paradise without sickness. You will have better
mood, less pain, more positive relationships,
greater self-esteem, and more.
24. So pay close attention to your words and every
time you catch yourself complaining, you take the
bracelet off and switch it to the other hand.
And you will restart as day one
25. What about thinking of a complaint but not saying?
Does it count? No, thank god!
Only the words coming out of your mouth are what
count in this case
26. Why 21 days?
Experts say it takes 21 days to create a habit.
It will take 21 days to quit the complaint pattern.
29. The Rules:
1. Place the purple bracelet on your wrist to show that you
are participating
2. Change the bracelet hand whenever you say a complaint
3. Get 21 consecutive days with no complaints
Remember: complaints only have to be verbally expressed.
Complaining thinking does not count ... Luckily
30. Soon we will have a more pleasant classroom,
our mood will change and we will be better people.
