Inside and outside golf shop operations
Responsibilities
● Provided great customer service by helping evaluate customers sale needs in golf equipment,
apparel, and golf accessories by providing excellent product knowledge and assisting in product
testing and demonstration.
● Received golf equipment shipments and verified the shipment invoices and prepared equipment
for pricing and placing on sales floor
● Operated cash register/computer to itemize and total customer purchases, handled credit card
transactions, collected payments and made changes for cash transactions and balanced drawer at
the end of each shift.
● Assisted in summer/fall junior golf clinics by providing instruction to small/big groups in
teaching etiquette, rules, and fundamentals of the game of golf.
● Collected range balls as needed from our short game area, rotated hitting areas, inspected hitting
bays, collected baskets, washed, sorted, and placed range balls in baskets.
● Scheduled golf lesson appointments for the golf shop professionals
