Senior Business Consultant
As a senior business consultant and business analyst, I was involved with gathering, reviewing and documenting client
functional requirements and business use cases for the implementation of Maximo Enterprise Asset Management
(EAM) system. Additionally, worked configuring the database and User Interface in Maximo to address these
requirements. In accomplishing these objectives, I was responsible for leading and conducting functional workshops,
providing guidance to clients relative to the methods of achieving their objectives, documenting requirements in
functional design documentation, reviewing technical solutions and developing Test Scripts for User Acceptance
Testing (UAT). I have provided training to clients and other Cohesive employees on the Maximo product and

Managed and developed the functional requirements for new and corrective features in three products. Facilitate the
merging of client requirements and market demands to develop a product that would attract new customers and
influence existing clients to upgrade. Provide support to marketing and sales.
• Designed and created system features which resulted in a 15% savings in time for client planning departments.
This allowed increased time on root cause failure analysis and other analytical activities, resulting in an estimated
increase of 20% in equipment availability.
• Composed white papers, vision documents and use cases which now stand as a library of functional requirements
for future enhancements.
• Designed the instrument calibration process in the CMMS product which consolidated functions within one
system and met ISO 9000 requirement. The company is an aluminum smelter in Brazil which required ISO

Professional Services Senior Consultant (1986 – 1996)
Provided consulting services in the areas of maintenance management, planning and inventory control and guidance in
purchasing and accounts payable. Consulting provided in a variety of industries including petro-chemical, oil
refining, primary metals, steel and aluminum rolling mills, pulp and paper, military applications, facilities
maintenance, power generation (fossil and nuclear), discrete manufacturing and water/sewage treatment.
• Successfully led the implementation of the CMMS in an Aluminum Rolling Mill. Developed an atmosphere of
cooperation and communication between maintenance, operations, inventory control and purchasing. Estimated a
30% increase in equipment availability, 15% reduction in maintenance overtime as well as higher quality product
and overall reduction of maintenance costs.
• Developed operating procedures for Australian oil refinery which resulted in a 20% increase in planning
efficiency. This improved equipment availability by 10%.
• Provided consulting services in several New Zealand client sites, including the NZ Army and a fiberboard plant,
which resulted in significant savings within the maintenance departments and increased equipment availability.
