2. Company name and logo
• Our company name is ‘Epidemic Productions’
• We decided on this name as it relates to zombie films, as
the disease causing the zombies to be made usually turns
into an epidemic.
• Knowing that our company
would be strictly focused on
making films of the Zombie –
Horror genre we thought it
would be good for the
production companies’ name to
be relevant.

4. What does a production company
do?
• Production company’s are responsible for hiring the majority
of staff, from actors to the director.
• The production company essentially guides the movie from
the start to completion.
• Another aspect of what the production company does is
providing money for the production and setting budgets.

5. Who may the distributer be?
Why?
• A distributer who may be useful for our production could beWarner Bros.
• Warner HomeVideo released the zombie film ‘I am Legend’ on Blu-Ray and DVD.
• As our movie is the same genreWarner Bros. may be interested in our production.
• ‘I am Legend’ was quite successful as they managed to make quite a high profit.
• The movie budget was $150,000,000 and 5 months after it was released it has a gross
of $256,386,216.

6. • Another distributer who appears to have an interest in zombie films is
Paramount.
• A more recent zombie horror, ‘World War Z’ was released in 2013, and
distributed by Paramount Pictures.
• This film was extremely successful by having a gross of $202,351,611

Titles
The titles seem to start off with the main cast
members, as we then see more than one cast
members name at one time, suggesting they are
not part of the primary cast.
However in films usually the titles start off with
the distributer, then the production company, they
address that it is a film by the director, followed by
the main cast. Next is usually ‘Casting by’, then
‘Music by’, after that would be Costume Design,
Editor, Production Design and Director of
Photography.
Next all the different producers would be credited,
including co-producers, executive producers and
co-executive producers. Then the main Producer.
Lastly the Director would be shown.
