2. What kind of media institution might
distribute your media product and why?
• The media institution we chose to distribute our film was Warner
Brothers. We chose this institution because the conglomerate
produced the TV season Pretty Little Liars, which is what we loosely
based our media product on. This is also shown on our blog in my
individual work.

3. How might our film have been different if we used
an independent company like Warp Films?
• Our film would have been different because it would have seemed to
have a very unique storyline and a ‘smaller’ budget than is we used
one of the big six.

4. How might our budget have been effected?
• If we had actually used Warner Brothers we would have gotten a very
large budget so we would have gotten good special effects. Our film
would have also been filmed in a studio. Our film wasn’t actually
produced by this company though so we filmed on location and did a
stab wound with makeup. We still chose to use Warner Brothers
despite this because the conglomerate makes films like ours too.
