1. TASK
PRELIMINARY

2. We were asked to create a continuity task where we film and edit a character
opening a door, walking across the room and then sit on a chair and there
should be another character opposite also sitting on a chair. Both characters
engage in dialogue which was a couple of lines. During the dialogue there
should be a match on action , shot reverse shot and the 180 degree rule.
WHAT IS THE PRELIMINARY TASK

3. The storyline is about a detective and a criminal in a room where they are
talking to each other as the detective in the room tries to solve the case of a
murder by asking questions to the criminal who pleads not guilty.
THE STORYLINE

4. The way we planned the activity was that there were four people in this group
so we decided to split up the roles where two play the characters and one films
the scenes and the other member edits the scene.

ACTIVITY

5. The characters in the group decided to write a script since they would be the
ones acting and memorising the lines. We wrote the lines of what the detective
and criminal should say.
