● Film always gives better sense
of understanding the play.
● Play is the form of acting and
film is renoved form of play.
● When we read the play some of
the time we may fail to imagine
such scene.
● Waiting for Godot The film was
directed by Michael Lindsay
and released in 2001.
3. The Written play- Waiting for
Godot
● When we read the play we
have our own platform
where every characters
perform the way we want.
● During the performance we
may not pay much attention
towards the little dialogue
which may have some dipper
meaning.
4. Comparison between Film and
Written Play-Waiting For Godot
● FILM(2001)
● Film is fully adoption of the
written play.
● When we watch the film we
never find it is a play but it
seems like a story of film.
● Setting,Dialogues, Acting,
etc. are very well
represented.
● WRITTEN PLAY
● As a absurd play there is
nothing like rising action,
climax, falling action etc.
● Dialogues are very
important which always
have some dipper
meaning.
5. Where Film looks better than the
written play..
● Lucky ordered Pozzo, the
way he think get the
perfect sense.
● When Pozzo speaks, he
speaks seems like first time
in his life he got chance to
speak.
● The repatation of dialogues
and actions are performed
in excellent way.
6. Where written play is better than
Film...
● The producer have shown
according to his
imagination.
● Some of the dialogues
have deep meaning which
we can analyse after
reading of the play.
● In the written play get
chance to pay attention on
every words.
7. As a student of Literature...
● Film is always better way to
understand the play.
● When The play Waiting For
Godot performed first time in
the theater people have enjoyed
a lot.
● After understanding all the
theories its nearly to impossible
to enjoy as film only.
8. Theme of Nothingness and
Absurdity..
● The written play is there
in the syllabus not the
film.
● Absurdity get better
sense through film and
nothingness get better
sense through written
play.
