Fuel level sensor DUT-E is designed for precision fuel level measurement in all kinds of vehicle tanks, also in tanks of fixed installations. DUT-E can be used as a part of a fuel monitoring system or to substitute the standard fuel meter of a vehicle.

Purpose of use and application
DUT-E fuel level sensors designed to
measure level of liquid fuel and other
nonconductive liquids in vehicle and
stationary tanks.
DUT-E are used in GPS vehicle
monitoring and fuel consumption control
systems as additional fuel sensor or as a
replacement of standard (factory built-in)
fuel level sensors.

The sensor measures fuel level in the tank and generates an output signal to
forward it to a vehicle tracking device.
Tracking device records and processes the sensor data for further transmission to
the telematics server. Server software processes and analyzes the received data to
generate analytical reports for a selected period of time.

This will reduce measurement errors caused by fuel level deviation during driving.

Before installing DUT-E fuel level sensor
it is necessary to cut a probe.
It is required to leave a 25 mm gap
between the edge of the measuring probe
and the tank bottom.
DUT-E AF/232/485/CAN allow cut off up
to any required probe length with
mandatory further calibration.
DUT-E A5/A10/I allow cut off up to 30 %
of the initial length of the measuring probe
with no further calibration.

Length extension is performed by
fastening KDC additional sections to the
measuring probe of DUT-E sensor.
Model range of DUT-E additional
sections includes: KDC 250, KDC 500 and
KDC 1000 with lengths of 250, 500 and
1000 mm respectively.
DUT-E AF/232/485/CAN can be
extended up to 6000 mm length.
DUT-E additional sections can be cut to
necessary size.
