Eurosens Dominator networking
Mechatronics provides more effective solution, because Eurosens Dominator RS has both RS232
and RS485 interfaces onboard, as well as K-Line. Sensors can be connected in Network, where
one sensor works as a master and calculates the total fuel volume in all tanks.

RS232 interface. RS232 interface is made for
only one device connection. So, you can't

Direct and Delta
Usually flow meters are used for:
■ Measuring real fuel consumption.
■ Definition of fuel limits for given tasks.
■ Engine test stands.
■ True motor hours tracking
■ Economy-assistant systems
Eurosens fuel flow meters Direct and Delta work
on a rotary piston technology which is the best
choice for precise measurement of lower fuel
rates (from 1 to 1500 liters per hour).
It can measure the real fuel consumption on
vehicles, diesel-generators, ships, boilers etc
together with AVL tracking devices or as
standalone unit.
Some engines have a return fuel line from engine to tank, so it is impossible to measure the fuel
consumption without additional engineering of the fuel supply system. Mechatronics has two
types of fuel flow meters – a single-channel Direct and a differential Delta. With two metering
chambers Delta measures both supply and return fuel lines and calculates the difference which
is the real fuel consumption.

Eurosens flow meter modifications
All Eurosens fuel flow meters use Hall sensors instead of reed switches. It makes them insensitive
to the effects of an external magnetic field and improves the reliability of the flow meter.

All fuel meters contain a powerful microprocessor STM32. The electronic circuit provides the
following advantages:
1. Increased accuracy.
2. Hall sensors are used instead of reed switches.
3. Detection of the interferences to the flow meter operation.
4. The flow meter can measure not only fuel consumption but also derived parameters: the
engine’s (boiler) operation time, fuel consumption and operating time in different modes, the time
of intervention in its operation, etc. These parameters can be transmitted either through the K-line
interface (PN ) or via RS232 / RS485 / CAN in the flowmeters of the version RS / CAN.
5. Eurosens flow meters can be installed without the use of a check valve. The electronic algorithm
determines the direction of the flow of fuel. It significantly increases the reliability of the problem-
free operation of the engine with a modified fuel supply system. This is a unique feature of Eurosens
flowmeters.

Direct I fuel flow meters are designed to display local data, and do not have an pulse output. They
require an external power source.
The flow meters with index A also have a built-in battery that provides autonomous operation of
the flow meter for three years.
Direct PN A I flow meters can be powered from both external power supply and built-in battery.

Eurosens Delta differential flow meters have the following unique features:
1. Compensation of fuel temperature difference in both chambers.
2. High reliability and resistance to external magnetic field due to the usage of Hall sensors.
3. High quality materials and metal processing allow to establish a warranty period of 3 years
without passed flow quantity limitation.
4. The possibility of adding fuel flows instead of subtraction.
5. Measuring not only fuel consumption, but also the operating time of the engine, as well as the
operating time and fuel consumption in partial engine operation modes, the boundaries of modes
can be set.
Eurosens flow meters have both serial RS232/RS485 data interfaces and the CAN interface. Data
communication via RS232 / RS485 interfaces is possible with the Eurosens Delta or MODBUS
protocol. The CAN interface operates in accordance with the SAE J1939 or NMEA2000 specification.

Axle load sensors
Axle load measurement is an important part of AVL tracking business. Mechatronics produces
axle load sensors for vehicles with air suspension or leaf-spring suspension.

Sensor is equipped with an input shaft and
transforms its position into analog output signal
The pneumatic axle load sensor is installed in
a pneumatic suspension system. It measures
the air pressure in the suspension balloon. This
pressure is proportional to axle load.
Both axle load sensors are compatible with any AVL trackers with analog (voltage)
measuring input, RS485 interface or CAN bus.

Eurosens Dizzi
liquid level sensor
An ultrasonic liquid level sensor Dizzi can be
used for non-contact level measurement of
acoustically transparent liquids.
The liquid level is measured by echolocation
through the bottom of the tank.
Dizzi is glued to the tank or reservoir, therefore
no changes of original factory design of
reservoir are required.
■ Dizzi allows to measure almost any fluid, including liquefied gas
■ No tank modification is required. All sensor components are placed outside the tank.
It is very important when you measure aggressive, explosive, food and high –
pressured liquids. A good choice for fuel tank trucks – three is no need to drill a hole in tank.

Benefits
The sensor probe is fixed at desired position with the help of glue and a metal tie.
Dizzi measures the liquid level correctly even
if there are some residues at the bottom of the tank,

Simple device to improve fuel level data coming from vehicle level sensor. Originally analog, its
signal depends on the onboard voltage that also falls to 0 after ignition off. Eurosens Dock makes
rapid correction of vehicle sensor data according to measured onboard voltage and converts it to
loseless RS485 interface compatible with a variety of GPS trackers. Very cost-effective solution
for fuel monitoring of cars.

Eurosens Digistone - video and data logging
It records CAN-bus data and can capture video from IP-cameras based on data events.
Collected data and videos can be uploaded to remote server by external GSM mode or built-
in Wi-Fi interface.
Basic features:
■ Parsing and logging of CAN bus parameters and storing them in SQlite database.
■ Virtual dashboard with the use of external display, touch screen is supported.
■ Smart event-based video recording with support of external IP-cameras.
■ Stored data can be sent to GPS tracking server by Wialon IPS protocol.
■ External USB devices support.
Smart event-based video recording:
■ When one or several CAN-bus parameters goes exceed predetermined limits or discrete input
changes its state, Eurosens Digistone counts an event.
■ When the event is registered Eurosens Digistone saves short video from IP camera which
includes buffered video prior to event was happened.

■ Advanced monitoring of non-moving assets with
video: fuel storages, diesel gensets.
■ Offline data and video recording when no GSM
network is available with further data transfer over
WI-Fi.
■ Fast integration with any external equipment -

Onboard weighing system Eurosens Armlog performs an advanced monitoring of the hydraulic
system and manipulator arm position, also calculates a weight of cargo being lifted.
Eurosens Armlog
■ Pressure sensors must be installed in the hydraulic system to monitor oil pressure. Angle
sensors are installed on the arms of manipulator to monitor its position.
■ After system installation Eurosens Armlog system collects data.
■ Based on this data our developers create the event profile to adopt system for given
vehicle.
■ To work in cargo weighing mode system calibration is required.
■ Onboard weighing during low outdoor temperatures may require the installation of extra
sensors to correct oil viscosity changes.
■ It is possible to use already installed onboard pressure sensors.
■ System can be customized by customer’s request.

Some engines have a return fuel line from engine to tank, so it is impossible to measure the fuel consumption without additional engineering of the fuel supply system. The liquid level is measured by echolocation through the bottom of the tank. Dizzi is glued to the tank or reservoir, therefore no changes of original factory design of reservoir are required. ■ Dizzi allows to measure almost any fluid, including liquefied gas ■ No tank modification is required.   • 28. www.mechatronics.by Onboard weighing system Eurosens Armlog performs an advanced monitoring of the hydraulic system and manipulator arm position, also calculates a weight of cargo being lifted. Eurosens Armlog ■ Pressure sensors must be installed in the hydraulic system to monitor oil pressure.
