● Manage Department communications and marketing efforts, developing communications and outreach materials
relating to unemployment, workforce development, workplace safety, labor market information and more for
public and internal dissemination through the Department website, social media, and other channels.
● Facilitate inquiries from press to ensure availability of Department information and visibility to the public, and
conduct outreach to media in effort to promote Department initiatives to Vermonters.
● Coordinate with leadership on website design and content, including a recent reorganization and development of
content to allow for greater audience (internal/external) understanding of high-priority information.

● Implemented programs to benefit health care initiatives for children in local communities.
● Project lead for Speediatrics Fun Day Festival initiative, overseeing 13 events since 2017 and impacting more
than 2500 children, to provide a NASCAR-themed field day to emphasize the importance of healthy living.
● Coordinated Giving Tuesday Speedy Bear Brigade initiative, distributing 1575 teddy bears to children at 39
hospitals by 10 NASCAR drivers and 140 employees in celebration of Giving Tuesday.
● Organized grant RFP process and align with receiving charitable organizations to obtain data and impact stories
showing impact of Foundation events and grants on local communities.
● Assisted in outreach for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award online fan vote, contributing to content for
Foundation website and social media, including scripts for finalist videos and marketing toolkit.
● Worked with a network of 50 NASCAR Foundation Employee Ambassadors at 21 tracks and NASCAR offices to
promote Foundation’s mission and create engagement and volunteer opportunities for employees.
