Manager of Sales
• Develop, implement and oversee marketing strategy within budget limits
• Maintain and/or improve upon occupancy level of the community utilizing sales process and systems to reach
sales and performance goals
• Track sales information and compile data and reports for community
• Promote and increase awareness of Brookdale in community
• Create sales and marketing annual goals and projected plan
• Promote and enhance relationships with existing referral sources, families and residents to generate future leads
• Provide information and conduct presentations about community services and programs, market advantages,
availability and other relevant information to meet the needs of prospective referral sources and community
groups
• Represent the community and increase awareness through participation in outside events, professional groups and
community involvement in the local market.
• Organize, plan and conduct marketing events and fundraisers to bring community members into the Brookdale
community
• Assist with resident retention through new resident welcome events, resident referral programs, outside
community visits to current hospitalized residents and other programs as outlined in the marketing plan
• Partner with management to develop and execute marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals.
Research and provide plan for content and delivery of brochures, flyers, press release and other forms of media
uses to promote a positive community occupancy
• Maintain working knowledge of lead management systems and uses them to maximize sales effectiveness.
• Coordinates and completes all activities needed for a sale to convert interested parties into move-ins
• Manages the sales process by assisting prospective residents, their families, and/or advisors in the decision-making
process by understanding their needs and educating them about he community’s services and programs.
Responds promptly to every phone call, email, internet or in-person inquiry. Completes weekly follow-up calls,
letters and tours as deigned by the community marketing plan
• Coordinates and completes all activities needed for a sale to convert interested parties into move-ins
FAMILY MINISTRIES, Greeneville, TN 06/12-10/15
Director of Marketing and Corporate Development
• Work directly for President and provide marketing and communication support to leadership team of organization
• Develop, implement and oversee marketing strategy and marketing budgets for all eight different entities of
organization
• Promote and increase awareness and positive image of Family Ministries in community and region
• Create with leadership team marketing annual goals and projected plan
• Promote and enhance relationships with existing donors, friends and community while cultivating new
relationships
• Manage a portfolio of donors to raise money and keep communication accessible to donors for all entities of
Family Ministries
• Lead the planning, coordinating and execution of all organizational events from marketing to internal employee
events to keep benefit of company positive internally and externally
• Organize, plan and conduct all fund-raising initiatives for Family Ministries
• Work to build partnerships that will give support for company’s image, marketing and communication initiatives
