• Wide variations in terms of age,
level of education, prior
knowledge
• Many participants were not
actively engaged in the discussion
• Participants may prefer video-
based lectures moocs better
• Time consuming for tutor marked
assignment/portfolio
• Low completion rate
• Not very popular in social media
(Fb, tweeter, Google+, etc)

beginner enterpreuners, beginner
