The Institute of Educational Leadership has been at the forefront of developing research and university-based training in educational administration and leadership in Finland since 1999. For Finnish customers the Institute offers the Principal Preparation Programme, which provides eligibility for a principalship, and for senior principals we provide an Advanced Leadership Programme. For superintendents and principals the Institute organizes leadership training programmes. In-service training is also an important part of our operations in Finland. For international customers the Institute offers a wide range of training options for professional development. We provide a 2-year Master’s Degree Programme in Educational Leadership (MPEL) on-campus in Finland. The goal of our programmes is to develop internationally oriented professionals and experts for the field of education and educational leadership.
