The Company
Our client is a leading developer and manufacturer of high integrity and safety critical equipment for
the aerospace and defence sector with a global client base.
The Role
Reporting directly into the MD, the role holder will be responsible for developing and
driving innovative supply chain initiatives. Through managing a team of direct reports you
will be required to rationalise the end to end supply chain, improve stock accuracy to reduce
inventory, form strategic accounts to reduce costs, improve lead times, maximise cash flow
and also to oversee indirect procurement. Elements of operations management will also
form part of this role to oversee production scheduling, plus internal liaison with the bid
and design team regarding manufacturing commercials.
You will have demonstrable experience of managing complex supply chain within similar
environments, ideally combined with exposure to production planning. You will have a
proven track record of creating and implementing various initiatives to improve business
efficiency and cash flow. A working knowledge of ERP is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be a creative self-starter, innovative, results orientated and
very hands on; able to engage internal teams at all levels.
