4. Add an adverb that fits the verb: furry dogs barking angrily
5. Add a preposition: furry dogs barking angrily at
6. Add an article: furry dogs barking angrily at the
7. Add a noun: furry dogs barking angrily at the mailman.
8. Complete the sentence by adding
any necessary parts of speech: The furry dogs were barking angrily at the mailman.
9. Label the parts of speech you added in step 8. The-article, were-verb
