Description:
Process: IBM US Placement Partner and PowerUser
My job role includes partnering with IBM Managers in the United States region
to enable understanding, adoption and effective use of assessments to deliver
the highest quality talent search within IBM. I work closely with the client,
IBM’s Operation Management, and staff to define, develop, plan and
implement recruiting strategies to provide a qualified candidate pool. Post
selection of candidates engaging with Hiring Manager for offer process,
collecting all the required approvals and documentation for releasing the offer
letter and closing the job posting after candidate accepts the offer.
Responsibilities:
Works with client Hiring Managers and business unit leaders to define and
document hiring forecasts
Upon approval of a new requisition, work with Hiring Manager to set Service
Level Agreements (SLA) expectations and requirements
Work within predefined recruitment processes while monitoring that process
to identify, recommend areas, improve and to ensure best practices at all
times
Identify new methods with the approach for sourcing of candidates and
generating new leads
Obtaining required approvals and documentation for releasing offer letter to
candidates.

3. IBM US/Canada Recruitment channel provides operations support to
candidates hired in US and Canada for an offer letter and back ground
verification process. Once a recruiter has identified a potential candidate and
is prepared to make an offer, the subsequent process is handed to
Recruitment Specialist. The RS initiates ODF (Offer Details Form) to assess
candidate expertise and execute of all pre-offer, offer, and accept processes
(including hiring a foreign national), and knowledge of the on boarding
process. In addition, the RS serves as a guide to the Hiring Manager, and
candidate at every step to ensure world class delivery of talent.
Responsibilities:
As a recruitment specialist I am currently engaged in the process of rolling
out offer letter to potential candidates.
Post rolling out an offer letter, my job role is to get a complete background
verification of a candidate initiated and completed within defined timelines.
Post receipt of the verification report, I am engaged in authenticating a
candidature which further allows the recruitment completion.
RS facilitates offer letter and accept letter processing, initiates additional pre-
employment checks and oversees on boarding process.
