The document reflects on Kieran Bradley's process of editing audio for a podcast project in Adobe Audition. It describes some of the key tools used, such as the "Razor" tool for editing and the zoom icons for precise work. It notes some frustrations with finding parts to delete but overall enjoyment of the editing process. The reflection concludes that the final podcast project accomplished the goal of exploring mental health in music and sounds professional like BBC Radio broadcasts, keeping listeners engaged through a mix of interview, music, and related facts.
2. Reflection
This is what the opening page of Adobe Audition looks like, before I
imported my audio and over bits of audio material. On the right hand side,
at the bottom of the page, you will find a panel of 9 zoom-in and out icons,
these were important during my editing process, because these tools allow
me to work closely on editing my audio and they make sure that I can
delete the right part.
3. Reflection
After I had imported all of my audio recording, in to Adobe Audition, I then began to edit my audio, to
do this I used the “Razor” tool this tool was the most used, throughout my editing process. I found
editing easy to an extent, I found myself getting worked up at times, because it can be very frustrating
when you can’t find the piece of audio you need to delete, but apart from that I enjoyed the process.
As you can see I did some serve cuts in places. I think if I was to do it again I would try to be more
careful of where I’m cutting my audio.

4. Reflection
At the top of the page you find my final project. I am happy with how this
project has turned out. I went in to the project wanting to create a podcast
exploring mental health within music, and that’s exactly what I have
accomplished. I think my podcast sounds professional and that’s what I was
hoping for, I wanted my podcast to sound similar to the ones that you hear on
BBC Radio 1, I wanted it to carry some professional elements. I also think the
interview segment that I put in really works well, and I know that when my
audience listen to my podcast they won’t get bored, because I have put other
material in, such as music and facts relating to the theme by doing this, I have
there attention throughout the whole episode, also it’s a lot better than me
just talking all the way throughout.
