4. What is the Non Human Participants ?
Non Human Participants is things that
discuss natural phenomena such as
landslides, tsunamis, floods,etc. without
human involment.
Non Human Participants adalah hal hal
yang membahas fenomena alam seperti
tanah longsor, tsunami, banjir, dll tanpa
keterlibatan manusia.

1. The structure of the text consists of general
statements,causal sequences, and interpretations
(as explained above)

shcolarly information, such as science and other
matters.

In accordance with its understanding, explanatory
text contains an explanation of why something can
happen. Therefore, the main function or social function
is to answer questions that may arise in the general
public.

So, explanation text can certainly be a medium for
educating students.

8. Types of Non Human Participants :
1. Sequential
These detail the stages in an event. This type of text describes the
process of change of a natural or social phenomenon which will be
discussed in detail. An example from this text is :Butterfly life Cycle.
2. Causal
Details what causes the change from one stage to the next. What is
discussed in this type of the text is the cause of a change from a
certain state to another. Example of the text :How a president is
elected.
3. Factoral and Consequental
Explanations explain effects and outcomes of processes. The
explanation in this explanatory text contains a series of
events,effects,and impacts of a process.As an example :
1.Sains – Explain the causes of climate change
1.History – Explain the causes of World War II

nature, or non-human participants,
for example :landslides, hurricanes,
earthquakes, stroms, floods, rain,
and air.
