1. THE HISTORY OF BOTH WARNER
BROTHERS AND BELSTONE PICTURES
BY SHEVCHENKO SASHA.
2.
3. 1903-1925: Founding
The company is named after the four Warner brothers: Harry (Hirsch,
Vonschrader), albert Warner (Aaron Vonschrader), Sam Warner
(Shmuel, Vonschrader) and Jack Warner (Isaac, Vonschrader), whose
parents emigrated from the Russian Empire (the territory of present
Poland) to USA (via England and Canada).
So, In 1904, brothers founded the Duquesne Amusement & Supply
Company (which became the predecessor of Warner Brothers), which
was engaged in the distribution of films. For several years the land on
which worked for them the company has expanded and included the
four States and in 1918 they opened a Studio Warner Bros.
The company prospered, allowing the brothers in 1924 to get a loan on
wall Street. These funds were used to purchase the Vitagraph
Company, which had a nationwide distribution network, as well as to
buy several radio stations and build new theaters.
Well, Let's go back to our time. What about now?
The Studio is located in the USA in Burbank, California

apparently it is one of the last. (Warner Bros. recently
came out and said they would be focusing on
individual stories and downplaying the overall
continuity for a while. Smart move.) Wonder Woman
broke a number of records during its box office run,
including biggest box office hit for a female director,
biggest super hero original movie, etc. and in the end,
it was the biggest domestic hit of the summer.
