2. OUTPUT DEVICES
• An output device is any device used
to send data from a computer to
anotherdevice or user. Most
computer dataoutput that is meant for
humans is in the form of audio or
video. Examples include monitors,
webcam, speakers, headphones and
printers.
3. MONITOR
• A computer monitor is an
output device that displays
information in pictorial
form. A monitorusually
comprises the display
device, circuitry, casing,
and power supply.
4. WEBCAM
•A webcam is a small
digital video camera
directly or indirectly
connected to a
computer or a
computer network.
5. SPEAKER
• A device that converts analog audio
signals into the equivalent air vibrations
in order to make audible sound. When
CRT monitors were the
norm, speakers designed
for computers were shielded to avoid
magnetic interference with the CRT's
magnetic coil.
6. HEADPHONE
• Headphones are small speakers
that can be worn in or around your
ears. Traditional headphones have
two ear cups attached by a band
that is placed over your head.

output device that takes the

8. INPUT DEVICES
• In computing, an input device is a
piece of computer hardware
equipment used to provide data and
control signals to an information

Examples of input devices include
keyboards, mouse, scanners,
microphone and joysticks.
9. KEYBOARD
• A keyboard is defined as the set
of typewriter-like keys that
enables you to enter data into a
computer or other devices.
Computer keyboards are similar
to electric-typewriters but contain
additional typing keys.
10. MOUSE
• A mouse is a small handheld input
device that controls a computer
screen's cursor or pointer in
conjunction with the way it is moved

• A scanner is an electronic
device which can capture
images from physical items and

scribes them to a recording

13. JOYSTICK
• A joystick is an input device

14. CPU OR CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT
• CPU (pronounced as separate
letters) is the abbreviation for
central processing unit.
