■ The Solution - At client, there is a need to support existing business and
also leverage superior service providers as partners to support the
company’s growing needs in the information technology, to further take
full advantage of improvements in technology.
■ We propose that Client partners for a IT Services support model to
support its PS Administration needs. We shall be able to support Clients
requirements by offering an integrated service that improves system
availability, performance scalability and business continuity beyond what
is achieved through standalone services. Our proposal also provides the
opportunity to generate a shared knowledge team, to further mitigate
any business disruptions, in case of any employee turnover.
■ Most importantly, we provide the training and support for the current and
new solution that ensures administration activities ramp up quickly and
realize concrete solution.
5. WWT – Always ON Proposed Solution ( Global Time Zones)
IT Services Administration Approach
To start with, the transition team will work closely with client, or current
system integrator, to understand the current scope of positions, which
includes a thorough understanding of the following: IT Services
Application landscape, integrations, processes, development standards &
conventions, IT Services Administration, program specification and coding.
The same shall be passed on to the offshore team members. After
completion of Knowledge Transition (KT), a 2 week overlapping support
with the provider will be followed by independent ongoing support by the
offshore support team.
Ongoing Support - As part of ongoing support, following support structure would be expected:
■ Provide day to day support based on agreed support processes
■ Provide ad-hoc support as needs arise. Track various issues in client Issue Tracking
System. Identify any undocumented process and ensure that the same are built into the
process repository
■ Identify repetitive occurring issues and determine ways to mitigate the re-occurrence of
those issues. Submit weekly status reports reporting weekly activities

7. IT Services Administration Key System / Position Requirements:
■ Maintain High system availability at high performance
■ Ensure a scalable and high business continuity solution architecture
■ A thorough understanding in the current technology of the following: IT Services
Administration, database design and structure
■ The PS Admin team would be required to take the ownership for performing day-to-
day management of tasks for the IT Services current installed versions. The
responsibilities will be very technical in nature and will include project activities that
may span all Practice Areas involved (Design/Build/Run, Operations Architecture,
System Administration, Database, ERP and other technical frameworks, etc.).
■ Full Package Builds – DV, PY and PD
■ Data Refresh – PD to PY as needed
■ Installation of minor tools releases to address identified issues
■ Out of scope: Any items not explicitly identified above will be considered out of
scope. While all attempts would be made to support client needs, any 3 party
products (not limited to Citrix patch application etc.) cannot be guaranteed to be
supported.
