AUPIT has more than two decades of experience in designing and delivering high-end IT systems for
large and small organisations, local government bodies, councils and corporations. The team at AUP
realises that reliable, cost-efficient and easy to maintain IT systems can make a significant difference
to the bottom line. We want to help our clients save money by having them leverage AUPITs
expertise in delivering efficient and cost-effective IT solutions.
Our business is all about collaborating with our clients, getting to know their business inside and out
so that we can create solutions that will give them an advantage in today’s tough economic

AUPIT has three key customer facing divisions serving around 180 customers:
Professional Services
AUPIT takes a professional approach to our customers IT needs. We evaluate our customer’s
business requirements from the ground up by designing an IT roadmap for them and assisting them
in deploying the technology.
With a core group of engineers, led ably by our Principal Solutions Architect – Qui Truong, who
managed the first commercially viable Citrix VDI project in APAC, AUP IT have always been at the
forefront of emerging technologies in this space. As the dialogue moves to the datacentre, the
discussions around VDI have become more pertinent. The emphasis now is on making the client
facing footprint lighter without losing operability, efficiency and Quality of Service.
Premier EMC partner with deep expertise in complex storage deployments including multi-tenanted
datacentre installations and backup and recovery.
SharePoint Development
Microsoft Gold Partners (Collaboration and Content) with extensive professional experience in the
design and development of SharePoint-based content management solutions.
Software Asset Management
Our team includes one of only two ISO-19770 certified software consultants in Australia to assist
customers manage their software licensing with the end goal of getting them to an effective
licensing position. We are a Microsoft Gold SAM Partner.

AUPIT can provide VDI capabilities to systems integrators and other service providers to enable their
client organisations to extend the lifespan of their devices through application streaming and
harvesting of a shared pool of computing resources. We have deep expertise with the various
flavours of VDI as espoused by Citrix, VMWare, Wyse (Dell) and also have thorough knowledge in
integrating bespoke apps into a common VDI platform. Our engineers have all the necessary
certifications and qualifications gained largely in the corporate sector with a special focus on
regional councils and schools.

customers with the management of their Software Licensing. We are also Microsoft Gold Partner in
Software Asset Management.
What is ISO-19770?
ISO-19770 is an industry standard for Software Asset Management. There are a number of
organisations in Australia that profess to have a SAM practice and whilst they do have SAM
consultants, the main driver for them is to sell more licenses. AUPIT's main differentiator is that we
don't sell licenses and therefore, we can provide an unbiased approach to Software Asset
Management which has the clients’ best interests at heart. Our ISO certification means that the
service we provide and the processes we implement are guided by global best practices.
SAM or Software Asset Management has existed as a synthesis of tools, processes and frameworks
for over a decade. However, it is only over the last 3-4 years that the dialogue has moved beyond
mere inventory management to a complete framework that encompasses all the processes involved
in buying, maintaining and retiring software assets. In other words, discussion has shifted to
managing the entire lifecycle of the software assets within an organization.
