THE ADVERT.
The cast are responsible for their own health and safety. All members must report health and safety
observations and concerns to either the Producer or Production Manager. The Producer, Director and
Production Manager will supervise the health and safety instructions and practices. Anything that is
changed within the shooting plan must and will be discussed and assessed from a health and safety
perspective.
ANY PROBLEMS OR INCIDENTS MUST BE REPORTED TO THE PRODUCTION MANAGER

Controls to minimise risk
1 Lighting Equipment The filming will take place using some lighting. The lights that are used
will be placed in a safe place with caution. Any cables will be covered
so that they are not dangerous
2 Manual Handling Handlers should note the following habits for manual handling:
Keep a straight back
Position feel to provide a stable base
Use a firm palm grip
Any items that are heavy will be carried by multiple people
3 First Aid All members will be made aware of the local hospitals, which are
detailed on the time plan sheet. 999 should be called if any emergency
situations arise
4 Technical Facilities A Camera and iPad is being used. Equipment will be shared to make it
more efficient and minimise the handling for 1 person.
Camera moves will be practiced before the filming starts in a safe
manner.

Heat
All members will be noticed of the cooker being
active and to make sure they are safe around the
cooker in order to not get burnt.
