This risk assessment document outlines potential risks for a music video filming production and ways to minimize those risks. It identifies risks such as tripping over wires, electrical fires from equipment being left on, burns from overheating lighting, equipment damage, and medical emergencies. To address these risks, the document specifies that wires should be taped down, lighting and plugs should only be used as needed and not overloaded, equipment should be stored carefully, and medical conditions of crew members should be made aware of. The producer, Grace Arnell, is responsible for ensuring these risk mitigation steps are followed.

Tripping over wires
When using the cameras and lighting to make
the music video there will be many wires and
plugs being used. This meaning that my artist
or other people involved in the production of
the music video could trip; hurting themselves
or damage equipment.
In order to make sure the risk is minimised the
wires need to be tapped down with floor tape as
well as the wires using the plugs closest to them
with not overloading plugs.

Leaving lighting on or
cameras plugged in
charging, over loading
plugs
When leaving the lighting or plugs on for too
long can cause electrical fires this is caused by
overheating. Furthermore, overloading plugs
with the lighting can also cause electrical fires
which in turn can hurt those around the
equipment and the equipment itself.
To reduce the possibility of a hazard being caused
the lighting shall only be used and switched on
when needed with small breaks every so often to
stop the lighting overheating. Also plugs will not
be over loaded with wires but spread evenly and
if only needed at the time.

Leaving lighting on
Due to the lighting being important when
filming it will be constantly used and so may
over heat and burn the producer or helpers on
set.
Turning off the lighting when not being used or
for small intervals can reduce the risk of a person
being burned. This is cool the bulbs down also
when putting away equipment, leaving it for a
minimum of 5 minutes.

2. Damage to equipment
A range of equipment is being used during the
production phase and so has risks of being
broken or damaged e.g. a camera being
dropped.
To make sure that the equipment is kept safe
after every day of shooting the equipment will be
put away careful, and locked away as well as
when the cameras are being used they are
attached securely to a stand or holder which will
protect the camera further.

Medical Conditions
Due to many people potentially helping on
set, there may be a range of medical
conditions that will need medicine or
attention in the case of an emergancy.
In order to make sure that the medical conditions
are dealt with quickly all medical conditions
should be made aware of from the beginning as
well as having the medication nearby encase it is
needed.
