2. Anti-Ageing Creams
Description of anti-ageing creams:
Anti-ageing creams are moisturiser-based cosmeceutical skin care products
that are designed to make you the consumer look younger by preventing any
signs of skin ageing. Anti-ageing cream have been marketed towards
women more than men but are becoming increasingly more common
towards men.
Only the best anti-ageing preforming creams with ingredients that have an
effect on the skin works and reduces the appearance of wrinkles by less than
10% over the course of 12 weeks a study has shown.
3. Target Group
Ageing cream is aimed for people that are over the age of 60. It Is
aimed at both genders, however women are more liable to use this
because they still want to look young and beautiful like they used to
be, no-one wants to look or get old. The reason why people would buy
this is due to the fact that people want to prolong their age and make
them feel young again when they look in the mirror and loves it when
they get complimented by other people. Such as, ‘You look young for
your age’. Late night TV channels are always advertising these type of
products and makes you want it more because of the guarantee and
feedback from others, saying “Amazing! It’s a genuine product that
works! Magnificent”.
5. Tag line
All ageing creams have different tag lines, but that is
due to the fact that they are different companies, but
an example of a tag line for one of these are: ‘It
immediately leaves skin brighter-looking and smooth.
Tag lines are used when products are advertised to
gain peoples attention when the product is shown. Tag
lines make people remember that product because
they associate the few words of a tag line with the
actual product of anti aging cream.
This video clearly shows
the use of a tag line
because in the video it
states that ‘When energy
flows ’
6. Branding or product
placement
The idea of product placement is the manner that
during adverts there is a brand or logo to do with the
product and it is visible however the characters will
not draw the attention of the logo or brand towards
the audience. For example, there may be a bottle of
Olay and a person telling us about it however they
will not mention the logo or the brand such as who
made it. This video demonstrates how product
placement is used within a film, which would
be similar to how it would be in a advert
such as Anti ageing cream which has all
different products surrounding it as well as
their own product.
7. A catchy song
A song could be used with the product too because it
would get stuck in the audience's head if it was
catchy, you could simply take an old song and
change the words. Its quite like a tag line in the
respect of it has the same meaning of making people
remember about the product.
This is the type of song that is catchy because it
gets in the audience’s head due to the fact of
how the words sound and the theme track
behind it. They also repeat the word 'ice ice
baby'. This song has also been on TV for an
advert for a bank
