“Amazon receives notice from German Steuer
Institute“ (i. e. tax office) that you do not meet
the requirement of regulation of German sales
tax“. You are no longer allowed to sell on
Amazon. You may not take back your stock in
FBA, because German laws require us to
block the goods until you have met the
requirement of the German tax office. If you
still have credit on your Amazon Payments
Europe S. C. A. account, it will be blocked at
the request of the German tax office.“
TRANSLATION
What happens if you are NOT VAT compliant
Thursday, 28 December 2017, many large Chinese traders were
suspended from Amazon. de. They received a message from
Amazon indicating that the German tax office is targeting the illegal
third-country traders on Amazon. The merchants were suspended,
their FBA inventory and Amazon Payments were confiscated.
