 Revitalized a Philadelphia distribution center servicing over 300 McDonald’s. The DC
was mired in severe employee morale issues. Increased productivity by 18%.
 Reorganized / restructured a major distribution facility servicing all of McDonald’s 1,200
restaurants in France. Reduced shrink and damage by $150,000 in the first year.
 Recouped $1.3 million loss, in failing distribution center in Israel, developed an efficient
operation and re-negotiated existing contract for continued profitability.
 Led and managed the selection, implementation and start up of JD Edwards IT
systems in a South Korean distribution center. Project manager for transition from old
distribution center to new state-of-the-art DC and bakery.
 Salvaged an emerging, failing distribution company in the Persian Gulf States. Greatly
enhanced inventory management in a part of the world that has a 10-week lead-time for
perishable goods. Drove $250,000 profit in the first year of operation.
 Directed an emergency start-up of distribution operations in the Middle East,
overcoming a deliberate service disruption created by existing distributor. Supervised
emergency shipment of $270,000 of perishable goods in 48 hours.
 Navigated McDonald’s Lyon, France distribution center through one of the largest
transportation strikes in French history. Maintained full customer inventory& service.
 Negotiated a $3 million annual sales contract for distribution center in Israel, using a
creative sales fluctuation “mark up matrix” to offset volume fluctuations caused by political
situation, seasonal conditions, exchange rates and the economy.
 Took position as Distribution Center Manager after a fire resulted in 10,000 sq feet of a
450,000 sq ft facility being rendered unusable. Re-established operations.
