UH-60 (Blackhawk) Helicopter Mechanic & Crew Chief (MOS 15T).
Perform routine and in-depth helicopter maintenance and flight line operations. Remove and Replace major
aircraft components and subsystem assemblies. Perform maintenance operational checks and assists in
diagnosing and troubleshooting component subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
Perform maintenance using appropriate calibrated tools (i.e. torque wrenches, multi-meters, Vernier calipers,
depth gauges, etc.). Prepare proper forms and records related to aircraft maintenance. Read and understand
required technical manuals and diagrams. Perform duties as an active crew member during in-flight operations.
Coordinate with pilots to perform certain maneuvers and act as an in-flight aerial observer, load master,
passenger handler, and cargo specialist.

US Army - Fayetteville, NC - August 2008 to August 2014
The AH-64 Armament/Electrical/Avionic Systems Repairer is primarily responsible for the maintenance
of AH-64 helicopters, twin-engine attack aircraft. With hundreds of Army missions depending on these
helicopters, they must ensure that all of them are safe and ready to fly.
Skills Used
Research and competence; which was used to understand and give detailed training on any subject as well
as enforce all standards that were expected from a soldier. Using current published Army regulations such as
AR 670-1 to interpret, explain and enforce to over 40 soldiers that I mentored and trained on a daily basis.
Wrote over 20 Army standard memorandums to communicate the completion of Army training as well as to
inform upper leadership of upcoming training events with detailed information and scheduled time lines.
Trained 147 Soldiers in the Basic Rifle Marksmanship fundamentals using current Technical Manuals by
completing detailed classes that interpret as well as communicates essential skills needed to complete
weapons qualifications. Used complex Aviation Manuals and experience as a seasoned maintainer to
communicate, train and implement critical aviation maintenance practices on essential Army helicopters to
fellow maintainers.
Responsibilities
Served as a Squad Leader in an Aviation Support Company; responsible for the health, welfare, training and
mentorship of eight to ten Soldiers and their families. Using modern Army computer programs to write detailed
counseling statements to assess, mentor and track a soldiers progress in their military path which was a crucial
role as a squad leader. These tools allowed me to resolve and mid-agate problems that could result from a
soldiers failure to follow and abide by Army regulations.

overall safety of the platoon.

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all merit badge instruction that are given to Boy Scouts, as well as develop lesson
plans that best suit the needs of the Scouts. Used Boy Scout publications to asses and qualify all Scouts
that participated in the merit badge programs. Communicated and explained National Scouting regulations
