3. Examples of web based drama’s
Doctor Who Dreamland – This is a web based drama, and is based on the hit bbc
show ‘Doctor Who’ its what you could call a spin off, as its not the real show
but it features the main character and envolves and adventure similar to that of
the original show.
I feel that this is classed as a web based drama
because they use the episodes that have
already been made, but add their own twists
and add to it.

of web based dramas
The common conventions and characteristics of a web
based drama are the same sort of Conventions which
are used on normal TV dramas and films. For example;

From watching ‘Becoming Human’, some of the conventions that are used were
music to set the mood and tension, it has a set storyline, you Can distinguish
from the characters what their role is in the story and they leave the episodes on
cliff hangers to grab the audience attention.
