• Planning of the Ballroom Expansion (new construction) and renovation of hotel rooms; Ballroom
facilities designed to accommodate up to 300 people.
• Maintain high level of service to the guests, hotel image and name recognition within the
industry, community and both local and state side marketing partners.
• Preparation of operational budgets including capital expenditures with owners.

• Responsible for the Full Operation of this 273 room All Inclusive Golf Resort
• Hire after the passing of Hurricane Georges – Responsible for the supervision of the renovation
that lasted during 8 months and the re-opening of the operation.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Operations for Latin America and Eastern Caribbean and
while maintaining excellent communication and relationship with Property Owner Mr. Archibald
Zuliani that lived on property operating the casino ( it being a lease contract property).
• Responsible for the service levels, safety and well being of the hotel guests during emergency
situations to our Canadian and British Charters.
• Maintained excellent relationship with local community, government officials such as the British
and French Consulate, Minister of Tourism and Governmental Affairs and the Prime Minister Mr.
Denzil Douglas.

hurricanes Georges.
• This property was previously the Sands Hotel & Casino Beach Resort and Casino which operated
under Pratt Hotels during 1987 – 1998 ; where I opened the hotel operations as Restaurant
Manager and was promoted through several managerial positions including rooms division until
reaching the position of Director of Food & Beverage in 1990 until 1992 where then I pursued
my career to the Dominican Republic for professional growth at the Jaragua Renaissance Hotel &
Casino.

renowned College Prep School in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. As BOD member I chaired the Human
Resources Committee.
• Elected as a Board Member for a 2 year term representing Mid Size Hotels (75 – 299 rooms).
• Served as Regional Director for the Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association during 3 three
years representing the West Coast Porta del Sol Committee and representing all hotel members
on the Board of Directors of the association.
• As Regional Director – served in Governmental Executive Board for Porta del Sol which was
directed by the Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company.
• Rincon Beach Resort has been recognized with the Quality Awards in Service by the Tourism
Company in Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and as overall hotel in 2005
• Most Improved Green Hotel in 2006 by the PRHTA
• Awarded Businessman of the Year 2007 for the Municipality of Añasco by the Chamber of
Commerce Western Region
• Awarded Executive of the Year in Service by the Southwestern Industrial Association in 2010
