I will be evaluating the technical sounds used within this short clip.
The clip I will evaluate is “Lyon’s Arrives at Red Carpet”. It shows the main characters
entering an event and walking on the red carpet to this event.
3. Noise & Effects
At the start of the clip it shows a giant crowd and there is combined noises of
people talking and the sound of music which is pre-recorded into the clip. This
creates the ambience of the event which is busy and crowed and full of
entertainment. The music is an effect to add more to the ambience. There is
also the use of putting the sound of cameras as they take pictures of people in
the event.
4. Voiceover & Dialogue
1:11 into the clip there is a man speaking about the famous artists who will be
involved along side one of the actors, it goes in and out of the two techniques
to show them walking in and to show how famous they are.
5. Music/Aural Landscape
Music is featured as a recorded clip which is put into the sequence of the clip.
The music is pre-recorded from the singers who perform on the stage, this is
done to make the quality of the clip better. The music also helps to make the
atmosphere (ambience) of the event more lively and fitting to the purpose of
the event.
