2. Finding billboards that were specifically for magazines was
very limited and the closest similarity was of this billboard for
the Sunday Times newspaper.
The actual advertisement is very basic in design with no
images used, only text. The company logo is featured and
the board is in house style of the newspaper with the same
font and colours used to make it identifiable and
recognisable when consumers see it in stores
3. These three advertisements are very similar - Large
image of product being advertised – background is one
solid colour with a short, easily-read catch line to give
meaning to the image and increase the likelihood of
people remembering it – brand logo in the corner to
increase brand awareness
4. This billboard challenges typical characteristics of a billboard as
it actually has a large part of it missing as the design. Due to
the strength of the brand, audiences already know the name
without having to see it fully and this has been used to their
advantage in this situation. The ad also features a release date
as it is a film but is stereotypical in the sense that it features a
large image being the main focus and very limited, basic text
