Oversee the operation of 11 student housing properties, including management of capital expenditure
projects, setting service policies, human resource management, and reporting to the executive team.
Properties managed include locations in Tallahassee, FL; Athens, GA; and Norman, OK. Capital
expenditure project management includes developing scopes and schedules for subcontractors and in-
house team, bidding projects, reviewing submittal documentation, and performing project inspections.
Service policies include items such as setting standards for property goals, communicating

Responsible for all aspects of residential and commercial electrical projects. This includes material
planning; submittal review and verification; crew scheduling; oversight of field work, quality
assurance, reviewing as-built documentation to original prints; meeting inspection deadlines;
performing walk-through inspections; final inspections; and achieving certificates of occupancy.
Duties also involve the oversight and review of fire alarm systems and other low-voltage applications.
This position also requires significant communication and daily interaction with general contractors,
supply houses, shipping companies, inspectors, and other third parties.
Supervisor, 1999-2005
Responsible for field management of electricians, electrician’s helpers, and coordination with
subcontractors and general contractors. Duties included oversight of project crews, quality control,
and adherence to schedules set by general contractors. Performed troubleshooting and repair of
existing residential and commercial electrical systems as necessary from time to time to augment or
assist junior field technicians.

OTHER SKILLS: Over 16 years’ experience in the electrical field, ranging from electrician’s helper to project manager.
I possess strong real-world skills and familiarity with electrical systems, NEC requirements, and
electrical system components. I am often required to perform field reviews of existing infrastructure in
order to determine circuit design, identify devices and their loads, and breaker requirements. I am also
able to field adapt devices (such as motors, HVAC systems, starters, etc.) to accommodate existing
voltages. In addition, I have knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and experience with fire
alarm system inspection.
