3. How It Works
For the majority of small businesses traditional lead generation tactics are out of the question
due to excessive cost. Social Media advertising eliminates much of the legwork involved with
traditional lead gen, resulting in a much lower average cost per acquisition.
You give us some basic information about your ideal customer.. a few lines of text that
describes the perfect target, and we run with the information creating simple yet attractive
ads that get the attention of the right people at the right time.
4. The Process
When a potential customer clicks on your ad, they are presented with a short form that
typically requests Name, Email, Phone, City, etc.
The beautiful thing about lead gen with social media advertising is that the potential
customer is reminded several times during the process exactly what services you offer. By
the time they’ve filled in their contact info, it is unlikely that they are completely uninterested
in what you are offering. While ‘selling’ the incoming leads is still a ‘percentage game’, this
format is ideal for keeping lead quality high.
5. Getting Started
All we need to get started is some copy (text) as described earlier. Just a bit of info about
what you offer and who your best audience is. After that we’ll need access to your Facebook
page (assuming you have one). If you need a Facebook page created, we will handle that as
well at an additional fee ($50).
All Ads require a page that represents the business on Facebook and also in the ads. You will
need to authorize Wise Social as an admin of your page, solely for the purposes of the ads.
We’ll also need a valid credit card to connect to the Facebook ads network.
6. Getting Started (2)
Your credit card remains on file with Facebook for the duration of the lead generation
campaign. At no time is any billing processed other than a direct charge from Facebook to
your credit card for distribution of your ad. At this point we’re not charging anything and we
do not receive any of what is charged to your credit card. You’re doing direct business with
Facebook. We’re just overseeing it.
Wise Social will invoice you separately. Invoices will be sent bi-weekly for as long as the
campaign is live. You’ll then pay each invoice at your leisure once you are satisfied with the
quality, volume and cost average of the leads.
7. Cost
As mentioned, all costs for the distribution of the ad is made by a direct payment from your
bank to Facebook. Wise Social’s separate fee is calculated on a ‘per lead basis’ and in most
cases is a low $5 per lead. In most cases the expected result is for a lead average somewhere
between $5 and $50 per lead. Industries can vary tremendously, but leads almost always fall
somewhere in this range. The cost per lead for any lead acquired in this price range is a flat
$5 per lead. Should your leads come in at a much lower or much higher rate than the norm,
we will immediately notify you and we will outline new terms.
8. Cost (2)
If your average lead cost ends up on the extremely low side, ($1 per lead for example) we will
offer you a lower cost per lead fee. If on the other hand, leads are acquired at a much higher
average cost, then we will have to present a new fee agreement in order to continue. This is
due to an increased risk on our end, and an increased complexity of the ads we create in
order to acquire a high dollar value lead. What’s a high dollar value lead? Think of
multi-million dollar yacht salesman and what they might pay for a qualified potential buyer.
Leads like this can average well over a $500 per. 99% of the time, this scenario does not
apply.
9. Turn It On
All that’s left to do is to ‘Turn it on’. With your nod to get started, we will set up the lead ads (generally same day
or within 24 hours). Once we have your credit card info and the ads are optimized, we will let it rip. Actually first
you’ll tell us what your max spend is. We can easily limit the amount of daily spend. Just tell us your limit. Your ads
will be up and running and your message will be live to your chosen audience within an hour or 2.
If there is a need for us to set up a Facebook account on behalf of your business it will ad 1-2 hours to the set up
time. So that’s everything. Are you ready to turn it on?
10. Go!
Now that you’ve decided to try it, here’s a simplified checklist of the things already mentioned that we need from
you to launch your campaign:
- Description of your services and your ideal customer
- Credit Card info including expiration, zip, security code
- Admin access to your business page (alert us if we need to create one)
- Initial spending limit for a 48 hour test run
