11. ACTIVITY 1: SORT IN BASKET
Students will be divided into 4 groups.
Each group will be given 3 baskets labeled
SEDGES, GRASSES, and BROADLEAF.
Students will be given various weeds.
They will classify each weed put the weeds inside
the basket where it belongs.
Time: 5 minutes
17. ACTIVITY 2: CHECKING
• Let each group count and list the number of
their correctly classified weeds.
• Have them write the correctly-spelled names of
each weed.
• Write in a 1 whole sheet of paper.
• Time: 5 minutes
18. ACTIVITY 3: E-SAY MO! (ESSAY WRITING)
Have the students write an essay on weed
removal by explaining the possible damages of
weeds infestation to crops.
Time: 10 minutes
