Project-Based Learning creates a curriculum that promotes deeper learning amongst students. By engaging students in projects, they learn through experience and example. This way of learning focuses on the evaluation of students' knowledge through demonstration rather than test results. I plan to have students present a project for each unit such as this one. I will assign the projects in a different subject area each time. We will also do many short in-class projects, as well. Reminders to parents: This is a lab; hence, students should wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and pulled up hair. Children should have their lab safety forms turned in. Remind your child that no horseplay is tolerated in the lab and students will be removed if necessary.
