• Many big companies, such as ABB, GE, and Siemens have developed their own
eco system to connect physical manufacturing to internet, and they call this
digital twin. They provide both hardware and cloud platform (PaaS), and focus on
industrial applications with the capability to turn big data into insights and
actions.
• Their platforms are claimed to be open, so equipment from Siemens can be
integrated into GE’s platform.
• They differ themselves to other IoT platforms, such as Amazon IoT, IBM Waston
IoT, Microsoft Azure, and Cumulocity
• Predictive maintenance is a large area due to IIoT, it has the same attractions as
energy efficiency.

Predictive Maintenance System is one of their packages in its solution, and is achieved through the
following 4 steps. They highlighted the of roles between machine supplier and filed operators, both play
an important role in predictive maintenance. IBM SPSS is also used in their business.

their compressors to predict faults and for PdM. Another
key Tech is the M2M communciation to achieve above
mentioned objectives. Connect to cloud through OPC UA

system an overview of the current status of wear
parts and when an exchange is due to retain the
maximum producitvity.
Also KMT receives this data from the opertor and
can proactively provide respective maintenance and

The existing sensors in the system are monitored along with the
control. The data is analyzed with the AV/AES series valve systems
and the Smart Pneumatics Monitor, an additional module for the
AES valve electronics. Monitoring the load allows the system to
determine the current state of the shock absorber and detect wear
early on. The information is then provided to the user in
standardized data logs, such as the OPC-UA.
The company Boge will also demonstrate how intelligent
pneumatics can ensure efficient system operation at its stand.
Using existing sensors, Aventics provides the compressor
manufacturer with information on the current state of its systems
and their air consumption in the standard OPC-UA data format.
This allows Boge to optimize the entire compressed air mains of a
system and to operate it more efficiently
