Civil/ Structural Engineer – Site
More than thirteen (13) years of experience in Project Supervision and Coordination in an
esteemed Projects such as Buildings, Tunnels, Research Center, Coal-Fired Boiler Plant, School,
Mall and Pipelines and Substations.
Experienced in Technical and Quality matters such as interpretation of Specifications, Drawings
& other Technical documents and preparation of PQP, MS, ITP, etc. Experienced in project in-
process and final inspections including project close-out and handing over procedure. Ability to organize,
prioritize and work under pressure, heavy work load and deadlines. Proficient in computer applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Review and approval of all structural submittals against IFC, Project Specs, Authority Requirements and
relevant Standards.
 Coordinate with the Principal Engr. and Design Structural Engr. for any discrepancies found in IFC drawings,
Shop Drawings and actual site conditions.
 Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good
construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Senior
Structural Engineer/ Construction Manager.
 Liaise with local authorities for all activities requiring their approval.
 Ensure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), Quality
Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
 Ensure all site inspection shall be carried out vide an official Inspection and Test request (ITR) submitted by
the CONTRACTOR through the proper channels.
 Ensure that all materials used comply with the approved Material Approval Request (MAR).
 Issue NCR for permanent work procedures and materials not complying with Project/ Authority Requirements
and other relevant Standards.
 Advise Planning Engineer and Construction Manager of any slippage of Progress regarding site activities.
 Review the Contractor’s supporting documents for approval of Payment Certificate.
 Review the relevant As-Built drawings as submitted by Contractor and make sure that all site conditions are
properly addressed.
 Assist with the final inspection of the work. Participate with PMC disciplines in reviewing the Close- out Report
as submitted by Contractor.

 Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering – University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao City, Philippines (2002)
