applications for auto financing to ensure compliance with internal policies and federal guidelines. Making sure

to recommend the re-training, coaching, internal policy and procedures sessions and in some cases firing of

o As a result of my new procedures and marketing strategies we were able to maximize revenues, therefore
minimizing losses in the repossession lot recovery operations.
o Directed the Purchasing department at the San Juan Branch processing over 2,500 contracts every month.
Making sure we comply with policies and guideline while carrying out top of the line service to dealerships and

o 28 out of 31 months while I was in in charge of the department, we increased the number of contracts, net and
gross dollar purchases when compared to the same month of previous year.

o Conducted audits on credit decisions and also making credit decisions, approving exceptions and high lending
credit applications beyond the Credit Officers limit.
o Preparing statistical reports related to Credit decisions made by Credit Officers, exceptions made and assisting
the Retail Credit Manager guidance on Credit Officers and Dealerships trends.
o Developed new reports to measure productivity among the Purchasing Department.
o Assisted the Collection Department Manager and Managers of the branches with many issu es regarding Credit,
Purchasing, Repossess units, collection and investigative issues regarding frauds and delinquent accounts (skip
traces).

bookings). Delinquency and losses in the repo lot dropped substantially.

o I was appointed as the Repo Lot Manager during the 2006 financial crisis in Puerto Rico. The average inventory
of repossessed units was just under 1,400 units.
o From 2007 to 2009 the department improved performance in two critical areas, Losses per Unit Sold and
