• You are very special to me.
• I am glad that you are mine.
• You make me happy.
• I will always be here.
• You are a great person.
• You’re cool. I’m glad I know you.

3. WAYS TO SAY “YOU ARE SMART”
• I like the way you think.
• You’re funny and you make me laugh.
• You always have great ideas!
• My favorite thing about you is how much you ask questions.
• You are always solving problems.

4. WAYS TO SAY “YOU ARE A VALUABLE PERSON”
• Thank you for being mine.
• I love that I get to love you.
• You make my world better.
• You have fabulous opinions and ideas.
• You were born to be awesome.

• Look at how those kids smiled when you played with them!

• Try adding some new phrases to your praise vocabulary. It may take practice but the praise that they
get will actually have meaning.
• Write down your own ideas and share them in the discussion area.
• Watch. Your child will start using your words and praising you, as well. I get told how proud my kids are
of me all of the time. : ) LOL
