Teacher questioning – throughoutthe lesson,the T will use questions to check for
students understanding
Discussion of the comparison table – teacher goes through the table, and students can
add extra information into the boxes provided on the worksheet
Tips – giving students tips abouthow to compare using transitional words,and how to
write the pointof each paragraph
Filling in comparison table – students will work with their partner to fill in the different
sections. T will go around and check for understanding,and answer any queries

To be able to fill in a comparison table using the different language
structures – students will fill in the comparison table, with help from the
teacher and go through each section meticulously.
