Strategic Intervention Material (SIM) is instructional material meant to reteach concepts or topics that students have not mastered. SIM focuses on skills not learned during regular classes through interactive activities and without pre-tests. It helps address diverse student needs and improve motivation. SIM should be conversational, interesting, and consider students' levels. Providing SIMs allows students to practice skills from modules they did not learn to improve outcomes.
