2. Mise En Scene
- In this music video the main girl in the video is shown as homeless this is
shown because;
- she is sleeping on a park bench
- torn clothes
- the black and white colour in the music video gives the idea of pain and
suffering as well as sadness; this also gives the idea that for her the world
is bleak.
- During the music video, the girl changes into revealing clothes which
shows us that she doesn't have many options to earn money.
3. Camera Work
- The camera follows the girl, the main focus of the music video.
- Two shot of the girl and Ed Sheeran, who wrote this song
- Close up on the sign 'improving the angel' which fits with the lyrics
as in the song, the girl is referred to as the angel, 'its too cold
outside, for the angel to fly.'
- There is a close up on the girls face.
