 Nirma Limited: (October 2000 to March2006 at Bhavnagar) As Engineer Operation, I
commissioned the plant efficiently by giving organized training to fresh engineers & less skilled
operators. I developed confidence among them to run the plant efficiently.
In Head office, as a member of Project team, I was actively involved in equipment ordering & follow-
up. During erection activities, I worked as site-coordinator.
 GSFC (Govt. of Gujarat): (March 2006 to June 2007 at Vadodara): As Shift In-charge, I was actively
involved in commissioning, PG Test, & operation of Cogeneration power plant. With efforts of
highly motivated team members, we have made DCS operation user friendly and made operation of
the plant very efficient. I did take lead, motivated team members & solved the problems our plant
faced time by time with same enthusiasm.
Initiatives:
 Reliance: Prepared Standard Operating Procedures, Drawings & Checklists, Initiated drive for full
compliance of personal protective equipments & safety devices, Technical training to sub-ordinates to
improve themselves, Developed program in Excel to calculate efficiency of oil fired Boiler.
 Nirma Limited: Coordination with various agencies for implementation and management of ERP
Procedures, Management of quality & enforcement of safety in Power Plant, Preparation plant
manual, & other such programs,
 GSFC: Giving & inviting suggestions for Development of Graphics & DCS operation, implementation
of the same to make DCS computer friendly. Total set up of trends and control groups in YBL DCS
Centum XL as per operation requirements. Preparation of plant manual, I trained Panel engineers &
field operators by giving presentation, drawings, lectures and on-site training. Motivating team
members by giving required help & suggestions for performance Improvement of the plant.

OPERATIONS :
 Working as a Shift Superintendent in the captive power plant. Responsibilities include looking after
reliable operation of plant, to ensure un-interrupted Power, Steam and processing feed water supply
to other process plants of refinery.
 Working as a Reliability Manager which include to prepare MIS report related to Power & Steam
Generation, Fuel consumption, Daily Plant Performance report, planning report, and Monitoring the
Power Plant critical parameter, Heat Rate monitoring , Performance testing of Power plant major
equipment like Steam turbine, Boiler , Gas Turbine and related auxiliary , Steam system audit and
monitoring, Tripping analysis and corrective & preventive action . Involve in Plant interface meeting,
Weekly Planning, Plant Performance review, CPP Site Meet, and provide input related to
Benchmarking report.
 Worked as PIMS (Plant Integrated Management System Coordinator
 COMMISSIONING
 Member of the commissioning team of PG9171E gas turbines (126 MW at ISO conditions) with dual
fuel firing supplied by GE.
 Successfully commissioned a 315 TPH Heat Recovery Steam Generator (Waste Heat Recovery Boiler
49 kg/cm2, 395 deg C) & 275 TPH Auxillary Boiler (49 kg/cm2, 395 deg C)
 Successfully commissioned the fuel system. The activities included lines loop checking as per
Isometric Drawing, Hydro-test, Loop cleaning by cardboard blasting and pigging, Leak test, Purging
and Line charging.
Remuneration:
Rs. 19.60 Lac per annum + Schooling & Mobile bill expenses.
