To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to highly recommend Jim Gibilterra to any firm seeking an excellent leader in marketing,
business development or sales management.
I have managed Jim for most of the time he has worked at our company. He has advanced here significantly over his
many years on our team. Jim started as a Sales Representative and advanced to lnside Sales Manager. When the
company needed to quickly convert to a new computer software platform, Jim successfully managed the project.
From 2OO7 to 2O1-t, Jim successfully managed and supervised one of Discount Media's divisions in Virginia. For the
last four years, Jim has been VP of Marketing and Business Development.
Jim's leadership and resourcefulness are extremely valuable. He has successfully managed very important and
extremely time-critical projects for us over the years. His ideas on new marketing campaigns and ways to compete in
an extremely challenging marketplace are outstanding. His ability to learn and take on any task is remarkable and
has been a great asset to our company.
Unfortunately, due to operating redundancies and cost containment efforts, resulting from our company's merger
with a competitor in 2O13, one of my partners will assume the role of VP of Marketing, and therefore, the position
Jim held is being eliminated.
I would be happy to elaborate on Jim's qualifications or achievements, or address any specific questions regarding
his employment here, with anyone considering the wise decision of having Jim Gibilterra join their team.
