PERSONAL SUMMARY
A vastly experienced estate agent with comprehensive all-round marketing skills and an impressive
background in property sales and marketing. Very capable with the ability, drive and determination needed
to succeed in winning business and creating opportunity. Extensive knowledge of the profession gained
from varied market conditions over many years. An excellent communicator who can relate well with
people at all levels and has the flexibility of working well as part of a team (starting as a trainee, now the
director) with the desire to lead by example.
Always able to attain high levels of customer service and financial targets within a cut throat sales
profession whilst retaining integrity and a willingness to learn. Keen to learn from new ideas and sales
techniques displayed by fellow staff members/ competitors alike yet not afraid to cultivate new systems
and processes of my own. Never forgetting that as a service provider the only thing that really matters is
the client and their experience, would they recommend you? Prospecting at its most fundamental yet to my
mind the most important, these are the principles that have allowed me to create high volumes of business
both in established offices as well as new outlets running into thousands of successful and profitable
residential sales over a long and illustrious career to date.
Now looking for a new and challenging sales position which will allow me to use my sales experience
and skill set yet will further expand and motive me to learn new skills as part of an ambitious and
forward thinking company of considerable repute.
CAREER HISTORY
Realter Glasgow
July 2016 to October 2016
Mentoring and coaching of self-employed Estate Agents to succeed as Estate Agents within an on-line
format throughout West/Central Scotland. Glasgow office mothballed until other projects in England
are completed.
Bell Ingram
Estate Agent January 2015- November 2015 (Resigned due to relocation difficulties).
Running an estate agency section of the Oban office which includes residential and commercial sales
and lettings primarily with a staff of four. Instructions being the life blood of the department I was
responsible for the overall generation of appraisals and subsequent acquisition of instructions. The
instructions created the income through sales to ensure the profitability of the section but are also
self-generating i.e. more sales creates profile which creates enquiries which further enhances future
development. Appraisals are generated through a number of sources primarily via telephone from
previous enquiries, websites press advertisements, leaflets drops, competitors etc. Data capt ure
through a vast array of sources becomes the catalyst for success as information can allow for planning
future activities as well as the ability to run a successful diary. Argyll & Bute requires that disciple as
it accounts for a large geographical area and time management is therefore the key to ensure a positive
use of time.
2. Martin & Co.
Sales Manager March 2014- December 2014
Setting up and running a sales division for the Ayrshire, Paisley and Glasgow City branches to
complement the existing Lettings operations and to take advantage of the changing market conditions.
Lead generation which would expand the sales portfolio to increase profile of branch, add sales and
expand data base of enquiries and information for future business development. Business development
through tele-sales from existing enquiries, private advertisements from websites, press and visual on
site boards. Properties which have been on the market for excessive periods of time are also excellent
sources of business as a change in direction can frequently result in success. Numbers for Martin &
Co. difficult to quantify as the sales branch opened 2014.

DIRECTOR June 2006 – January 2014
Creating an office of some standing from the beginning, generating a sales and lettings portfolio from an
