It is with great pleasure that I am recommending Mr. Gabriel Calabrese to you. I run Global Sales
and Operations at ScaleMP, Inc. and Gabriel has been under my supervision from January of
2013 to October of 2014 as an Inside Sales Rep. Gabriel would be a great asset to any sales
team; he is bright, has great work ethics, and is very persistent. He also has a great drive and
passion for his work.
Gabriel was responsible for direct sales into Academic and Commercial accounts in EMEA, South
America, and India. He was also helping with the North America and UK/Ireland territories from
time to time. This included researching leads, cold calling, qualifying opportunities, facilitating
technical sales processes, quoting, and handing off or closing deals as necessary.
Gabriel is handling all aspects of inside sales very professionally and successfully. If marketing
falls short on delivering leads, he works hard in sourcing his own leads, and is well-versed with
the techniques of finding contact information. Gabriel is always upbeat about cold-calling, and
does not let rejections bring him down. He is friendly and personable on the phone and makes
very good connections with prospects. Gabriel was the top achiever for “number of live
conversations per day” throughout his tenure with us, and also holds the record for the largest
Inside-Sales deal ever sold at ScaleMP, bringing in $118k in a single transaction.
Gabriel is great in acquiring new skills and is a quick learner. He easily commands new sales
tools and productivity or CRM applications, promptly assimilates material about new products,
markets, use cases, etc – and will not be shy in asking for help or advice. Gabriel also followed
processes closely, and used ScaleMP opportunity qualification guidelines to identify and move
opportunities further in the pipeline.
I am convinced that Gabriel will be an excellent fit for any B2B Inside-Sales teams, and would be
