Learning is the process of acquiring new or
modifying existing knowledge, behaviors,
skills, values, or preferences.
Memory is storing what is learnt.
10. • Classical conditioning (also known as Pavlovian
or respondent conditioning) refers to learning
procedure in which a biologically potent stimulus
(e.g. food) is paired with a previously neutral
stimulus (e.g. a bell).
11. • In operant conditioning, a
reinforcement (by reward) or instead a
punishment given after a given
behavior, change the frequency and/or
form of that behavior. Stimulus present
when the behavior/consequence
occurs come to control these behavior
modifications.
