• The median age range for NME is around 25 years old. This is the
perfect age to gain knowledge upon and is catered for modern music.
NME provide the correct genre of music that will fit the age target of
their audience
• The gender of NME’s has a majority of 63% of which are male, this
allows NME to cater for the male dominated viewpoint of their
audience.

• The genre of music that the NME readers will include genres such as;

• When looking at the type of
bands/artists that NME readers
will enjoy to see in the
magazine include alternative
rock groups such as Artic
Monkeys. This will make it easy
for NME to target their
audience as the artists are
quite mainstream. There is a
running style throughout the
pictures in terms of style which
can be used as a prosumer
tool.

• When visualising the type of
clothes that NME readers
would wear I am able to
visualise that the consumers
are wearing items such as
Polo shirts, Converses,
Skinny jeans. These are in
the budget of the consumers
due to the disposable
income of the consumers.

general register scale. This may suggest that NME magazine is
targeted at a wide variety of people and consumers
• I believe that NME consumers will have a variety of job roles that
could include roles such as plumbers, police officers, managers.

• NME readers will have a avid interest in a variety of music that will
generally be focused up rock music.
• They will regularly attend music events, such as reading festival.
• By attending the festivals it will increase a sense of community within
the consumers as they can discuss and share good times together
