4. The features for my double page spread that I intend to ‘repeat’ (Steve Neale – 1980)
include an image of the star which covers over both pages to minimalize any unused space
on the page. I will ‘repeat’ them but as Steve Neale says I will need to make them different
in order to attract my audience. Also the use of a ‘drop capital’ to draw the readers eye to an
article that will be on the page. As well as this I plan on implementing a pull quote which will
be put in bold and the use of more images of the star(s) overlaid on the page.
Features that I plan on ‘repeating’ for my contents page are a main and striking image of
the star to grab the readers attention as well as an image of the editor with editorial to
make the reader feel more engaged in the magazine. I also would like to put multiple
subheadings in using a consistent and bold font. Any issue details and website links will also
be made present.
